Walked today with Kai and Polly.-
Never really was a Jackson fan but I have to say I watched the memorial and it was very moving. The poem from Myla Angelo was so apporpriate and to see Michael's daughter Paris tell the world what a great father he was , just made him so seem so real and human to me.

- When I was a little girl, my Aunt gave me a button that said “I want it all” and a subscription of Ms. Magazine. I was 10. Yes….10. I was to grow up “free to be you and me” and “super girl” all in one 5 ft 1 package. Off to DC and then off to law school… Truth is no one can have it all. I know that now…as I move closer to my 43rd birthday. I gave up being a lawyer to be a wife and raise three beautiful and wonderful daughters. Now here I am, overweight, over 40 and over concerned that I will never be able to reinvent myself and reenter the workforce. Until then, I am going to play with this blog.
